Claremont Lincoln University offering scholarships for M.A. in Social Impact

As the GSBI team moves around the social enterprise world, many people inquire about opportunities for formal education leading to degrees in social enterprise. There are many fine programs out there, but most are expensive and require 2 or more years of fulltime commitment. Claremont Lincoln University, however, offers a Master's degree in Social Impact, that can be completed in as little as 15 months, is done online from anywhere in the world, and has a number of scholarship opportunities to make the program affordable or possibly free.

The M.A. in Social Impact teaches the capacities needed for mindful leaders-particularly, though not exclusively in the social and civil sectors-to envision, implement, and adapt efforts that generate positive and sustainable impact within and/or beyond their organizations and communities. It is intended for those emerging leaders with entrepreneurial spirits seeking the skills and perspectives to be intrapreneurs in their organizations, change-agents in their communities, or catalysts for new social endeavors. More program information is available here.

What I like about the program is the blend of formal learning and practical application. Also, classes are small, and interaction with peers and instructors is highly personalized.

Details about the scholarships are available at this link.
